Job Summary:
Seeking skilled CSTs for travel assignments in the CVOR surgical department. Candidates will provide pre- and post-operative care in a fast-paced OR environment, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and ready.
• Assist during surgical procedures by handling instrumentation and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative needs effectively.
• Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Document patient care activities and surgical details accurately.
• Support post-operative recovery procedures and communicate patient status to medical teams.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid CST certification with at least 2 years of OR experience, specifically in a CVOR setting.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile techniques.
• Possess excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Capable of adapting quickly to changing hospital protocols and schedules.
• Possess proper licensure and compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
