Job Summary:

The Charge RN in the PCU/IMC/Stepdown unit provides leadership and clinical expertise in patient care. This role demands a proactive approach to patient management and team coordination to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate patient care for a diverse population in the PCU/IMC/Stepdown unit.
• Supervise nursing staff, offering guidance and support on clinical duties.
• Administer medications, monitors, and treatments accurately per protocol.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions comprehensively and timely.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a telemetry, PCU, or stepdown setting.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to oversee clinical operations.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Willingness to work shifts that include early mornings and evenings.
