Job Summary:

The Medical Receptionist provides essential front-desk support in a healthcare setting by greeting patients and visitors professionally, managing appointments, and facilitating communication between patients and medical staff. This role ensures smooth daily operations and accurate administrative tasks to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors warmly to create a welcoming environment.
• Manage patient schedules and ensure appointment accuracy for review by the Clinic Director.
• Communicate insurance coverage details and process patient payments efficiently.
• Assist in coordinating patient appointments and maintaining accurate calendars.
• Handle phone and fax inquiries from patients and physician offices.
• Maintain organized front-desk operations to support clinic workflow.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare environment.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
